We caught up with Mr. Brock Bowman, exhibitor of the Grand Champion FFA Market Lamb and at the 2023 Iowa State Fair. Learn a little more about Brock below!

Grade: I am going to be a junior this year
How do you stay focused on reaching your goal?
I stay focused by not doing sports and spending a lot of time in the barn
Do you show any other species besides sheep? If so, what other species?
Yes I show cattle at local state and national levels
What’s your favorite show? and why?
My favorite show is probably the state iowa fair because I get to see all of my friends that I don’t get to see all summer
What do you do to celebrate after a big win?
I usually just hangout with friends and all the people that have helped
What’s your biggest dream?
My biggest dream would be to win multiple national shows and raising and selling my own show cattle
What’s your lambs name? and what made him/her so special?
My sheep’s name is worm because he had a lot of ringworm at one point in his life and he was special because he was undefeated in the ring (only showed him once)
Who do you look up to?
I look up to my parents, cole Grieman, and brad Amthauer
