Did your high school self ever think this is what you would be doing in 2023?
No not necessarily. I had a vision/ goal of raising sheep, showing sheep with my kids and judging sheep shows. Now I am living it.
In your judging career, what is one thing that has stuck out to you?
Change is inevitable and uniquely built livestock with the correct degree of muscle are still hard to propagate.
What’s your biggest pet peeve while judging?
Poor attitudes and sore losers.
What’s your opinion on kids who show with a halter?
Doesn’t bother me.
Do you prefer to evaluate when sheep are in motion or stuck on profile?
Both
