How did showing lambs influence your life decisions?
Showing lambs has influenced my life in many ways. For example I’ve learned hard work, determination, goal setting, and responsibility. But The biggest impact by far  was meeting my husband Devin. This then led us planting roots in Idaho and working with his family’s flock along with starting our very own.

What was your favorite part about stock show?
My favorite part of shows was seeing my friends from all over the country and being apart of one of the best show teams! We were all really close friends, had a good time, and supported each other in everything we did no matter what!

If you could go back in time, what is one barn chore that you would have spent more time on?
If I could go back in time, I would have spent more time on showmanship. I think you can always go a step farther than what you originally have in mind. When you think you are the best, it’s a humble reminder to know there is someone trying to beat you. This will drive you to work a little more. There are so many little things you can work on with showing livestock. You have to improve upon the details in order to be better than the next person.

What is one piece of advice you would give any exhibitor?
One piece of advice I would give is, always put forth your best effort and no matter what have a good attitude. The majority of the time you get out of what you put into your projects. Spend the extra time exercising, doing legs, and working on showmanship. Don’t get frustrated when things don’t go your way. Work harder, ask questions when you don’t understand, and listen to those who have been successful before you!

What do you do currently?
Currently I live in Wilder, ID with my husband Devin Fisher and our two dogs Maverick and Roscoe. I am a teacher at Homedale High School where I teach business classes. I am also the assistant coach for the varsity softball team. Devin and I have our own set of ewes that we run along side with his family’s flock, known as Fisher Club Lambs.

Some of your main stock show accomplishments/winnings:
Two of my favorite accomplishments are 2017 FFA Grand Champion Iowa State Fair and 2014 Grand Champion AKSARBEN.
