November 25, 2024 the day God was struggling with His flock and called up the best shepherd on earth. Seth passed away peacefully and unexpectedly in his sleep at his farm. Seth was born March 6, 1988 in Janesville, Wisconsin. He graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Animal Science. Seth was living his dream of farming full time while growing an elite flock of club lambs. He was a world class showman who loved livestock. But his true passion was mentoring young 4-H and FFA showmen. Seth was truly giving back to the show community after growing up learning from the best in the business. Seth had big dreams and ambitions and he left this world far too soon.

Seth was happiest when he was with his family, often talking to his parents and siblings each and everyday. We were fortunate enough to be extremely close and have many cherished memories when we were all together – the time we all cherished the most, the time we were the happiest. He will be forever deeply loved and missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him including his parents, Mike & Wanda Playter; siblings Benjamin & Julia Playter and Hannah & Josiah Cieluch; grandfather, aunts, uncles and cousins. Today Seth is in heaven causing all sorts of ruckus with his grandparents Carolyn Biesma and Patricia & Donald Playter.
