How do you stay focused on reaching your goal?
I work daily on the little things in order to achieve my goals for the season. This includes daily walking, hand leading and showing my  sheep, coaching my sister on her showmanship skills, and daily talks as a family on how the day went – what went well and what I can improve on for the next day. My family helps me stay focused and my motivation is to make sure I do all I can do be ready on show day.

Do you show any other species besides sheep? If so, what other species?
NO

What’s your favorite show? and why?
I would say my favorite show is Aksarben. I look forward to this show because it is so big! There are a lot sheep and good great competition at Aksarben.

What do you do to celebrate after a big win?
I give my dad a high five! My family usually has a long ride home after most shows so we get to spend time talking about the day together.

What has showing livestock taught you?
I am learning patience and work ethic. There are times something may not be in your control or your lamb is not working with me the best and I need to remember to be patient and control what I can control.  To reach my goals, I need to work daily by being intentional and give my all to be ready in the ring.

What’s your biggest dream?
To play in the NHL. (Hockey goalie)

What’s your lambs name? and what made him/her so special?
His name is Zeegs. (Named after Trevor Zegras in the NHL.) Zeegs is always calm.

Who do you look up to?
I look up to my dad. He does so much for me to help me achieve my goals. He is the best coach and holds me accountable.
