Age: 16
Grade: Junior – Clifton Central High School
How do you stay focused on reaching your goal?
I really rely on my family to help keep me moving in the right direction
Do you show any other species besides sheep? If so, what other species?
I show Breeding Heifers.
What’s your favorite show? and why?
My favorite show would have to be NAILE because so many of my friends from all over also show there. I really enjoy getting to see everyone that I normally don’t get to see very often.
What do you do to celebrate after a big win?
I typically go out for a nice dinner with family.
What has showing livestock taught you?
Showing livestock has definitely taught me patience. Animals sometimes have a mind of their own. I have to remind myself to be patient with them and eventually we will all get on the same page.
What’s your biggest dream?
My biggest livestock dream would be to win at a national level show.
What’s your lambs name? and what made him/her so special?
My sheep’s name is Darryl. He was a little codependent, but he had the best personality. He loved to jump and play in his pen.
Who do you look up to?
I look up to my friends that work so hard in this industry.
