We caught up with Ms. Emilee German, exhibitor of the Reserve Supreme Champion Breeding Ewe and at the 2023 California Youth Expo. Learn a little more about Emilee below!

How do you stay focused on reaching your goal?
I stay focused by setting goals, and working to achieve them.
Do you show any other species besides sheep? If so, what other species?
No I do not
What’s your favorite show? and why?
CYAE has to be one of my favorite shows of all time. It was always a goal of mine to make it to grand drive and be apart of the limo experience.
What do you do to celebrate after a big win?
Normally we like to celebrate at dinner with family and friends at my choice of restaurant.
What has showing livestock taught you?
Knowing that my stock relies on me, it has taught me to be responsible, hard-working, and have dedicated to be the best that I can be. Not only for livestock but in all aspects of my life.
What’s your biggest dream?
I would love to be able to win a national show.
What’s your lambs name? and what made him/her so special?
My sheeps name is Remi, shes special to me because in the beginning she started out really green, and it took lots of work to get her where she is now. I love her personality, and her all time favorite thing is head scratches.
Who do you look up to?
The person I most look up to is my oldest sister. To me she defines the word hard-working and dedication. She has taught me to set goals and work hard until I reach them.
