We caught up with Ms. Delainee Moore, exhibitor of the Supreme Champion Purebred Ewe at the 2025 Oklahoma Youth Expo. Learn a little more about Delainee below!
Leading up to the show, did you always know this lamb was special? What made him special?
Yes, I have had this ewe lamb since July and I have shown her at multiple shows so we have bonded. She was one of my smartest sheep this year and she was pretty easy to show.
Getting to win OYE is a huge accomplishment, who would you like to thank for helping you get here?
I want to thank Ty, Nicole, Cooper, Victoria, Sister, and Colby for taking care of my animals and pushing me to be the best showman I can be.
What is one show ring experience that you will never forget?
Getting the handshake at the Oklahoma youth expo with my ewe lamb.

Who is your favorite judge? Why?
I don’t have a favorite I enjoy showing under everyone.
What do you enjoy most about being at the shows?
I enjoy hanging out with my friends and watching them do good.
