What’s the most interesting thing you’ve learned about raising animals?
We’ve learned that when raising livestock, things often don’t go according to plan, and you have to be flexible and go with the flow.
Have you ever had to deal with an unexpected challenge while caring for your flock? How did you handle it?
There are always unexpected challenges when raising livestock, from sickness to weather and everything in between. We just have to be patient and work really hard to handle the challenges that arise every day.
How many years have you been raising sheep?
We’ve been raising lambs our entire lives, whether commercial or show sheep.
Do you prefer online sales or live sales?
Online sales seem to reach a bigger audience nationwide, but we’ve never been involved in a live sale.
What’s been your best marketing tactic?
Word of mouth has been a huge part of our success and growth over the last several years and we are very grateful for those who have played a part in that. And it has been very helpful to have a cousin who is leading the way.
