If you could go back and restart your herd, what is one thing you would have put more emphasis on?
I’d have started with black face ewes
What is a challenge you have faced as a breeder, and how did you overcome it?
Labor can be an issue. Especially with the amount of sheep we raise. However we have been blessed with great help over the years. Currently our herdsman Hudson Lee does a tremendous leading our other guys . Tucker Haws and David Robles.
Interesting fact about your champion?
He was supposed to be our buck, but had a retained testicle. So he ended up being chosen as the pick of the sale in our live sale that we call ” High Stakes”.
What pedigree do you feel like has been the most intriguing?
Chief X Saban or Chief X Unicorn has been wild here.
