How many years have you been raising sheep?
We have raised sheep all our lives wether it’s commercial or show stock
What excites you the most about raising show stock?
The best thing is doing it with family and friends. When your trying to make good ones it’s way more fun to have a bunch of people in your corner not only to be excited with but to also keep you going when things don’t pan out the way you want.
What is your favorite animal on your farm?
Ewe lambs and yearling ewes are our favorite because they a pretty to look at and the upside of what’s to come gets us excited
What is one lesson that you have learned while raising sheep that has changed your perspective over time?
Any time your dealing with livestock it’s nice to learn how to make lemonade and sometimes it requires something else added that is a little stronger!
Where would you like to see your operation go in the next 5 – 10 years?
We would like to keep trying to meet the needs of our customers and have the opportunity to send good ones to the show ring and get lucky. There is a lot of great livestock out there and it has to fall just right in order to win shows at any level.
