What is one thing you try to do that sets you apart?
The one thing that I try to do that sets me apart is outwork my opponents. I want to be the hardest worker and not leave a single chore or job left unfinished.
What was the hardest thing you had to learn about showing sheep?
The hardest thing to learn about showing sheep is patience. No matter what obstacles you encounter, there are ways to work around them and get better each day.
Who has helped you the most as a showman?
The person that has helped me the most, as a showman is my grandpa. He introduced me to sheep, and we have had so many unforgettable moments since I started showing. It has helped me become a better showman, but also a better man. I think that is something that is commonly overshadowed in the livestock world, because I’m not the only kid in this industry that feels as if showing has shaped them into the people they are today.
