We caught up with Ms. Sayde Allen, exhibitor of the Reserve Grand Champion Market Lamb at the 2025 Oklahoma Youth Expo. Learn a little more about Sayde below!
Leading up to the show, did you always know this lamb was special? What made him special?
I have always loved him sense the day we got him, and it made that win a little more special.
Getting to win OYE is a huge accomplishment, who would you like to thank for helping you get here?
I would like to thank my family and my show team – I couldn’t of done any of this without them.
What is one show ring experience that you will never forget?
I would say this OYE was a really special moment because I was in the drive with my two little sisters.
If you could describe your experience in words – how would you describe it?
Thankful, amazing, and privileged.
If you had the opportunity to win one show, what would it be?
I would love to win American royal.
What do you enjoy most about being at the shows?
I like spending time with all of my friends and family.
