What did you do to prepare that helped set yourself apart?
I’m very fortunate to have a team of people to help me get my ewe ready for the State Fair this year. We all depended on each other to have her looking her best.
What was the funniest thing that happened while you were preparing for the State Fair?
We had a long running joke that we were going to run her in the market show rather than in the commercial ewe show. Charlie was very against the idea of it and Tanner was very for the idea.
If you could invent a new fair food, what would it be?
I think the Iowa State Fair has about any food you could possibly imagine, so I’m not sure what I’d add.
What would it look like if you designed a ride for the fair?
It would be a simulator of what it’s like riding with Billy McCoy in truck. Absolutely terrifying.
What was your celebratory dinner choice?
Anything ice cream, I’m not too picky
