Tell us a little bit about your champion.
Tris was my first lamb ever and I could not have asked for a better one to start with. She had her moments but loved being with me and enjoyed showing. She definitely got me hooked on showing lambs.

Throughout your show career what’s been your favorite lamb?
This was my first year showing lambs but out of the two I had Tris was by far my favorite. She had an attitude for days but she was so fun to work with and taught me a lot about patience.

Do your prefer showing Wethers or Ewes?
I prefer ewes. I like their attitude and their sass. They have lots of personality and make showing fun. I also like their versatility to show in market classes as well as breeding classes.

Are you superstitious? If so, what are your superstitions?
I believe I must always wear my contacts while showing or else I will not do good.

Who has been your biggest influence?
Jeyson Price has been my biggest influence in the show industry. He has pushed me to always be better and hold myself to a higher standard.

It’s showday – what is one thing you can’t leave the hotel/house without?
You can’t leave without the speaker to blast music on showday.

What do you tell yourself right before you go into the ring?
Show the judge you want to win and never give them a bad look.

Are you an early riser or a night owl?
For sure a night owl. I’ll clip all night long but don’t ask me to show in the morning.

What’s your favorite thing to do in the barn?
I love to just spend time in the barn. As long as I have my music playing I enjoy cleaning and organizing as well as working shag and exercising the lambs.
