What is one thing you try to do that sets you apart?
I strive to be the absolute best showman that I can be. I feel that a great showman with the ability to get one stuck and presented to its fullest potential is priceless.
What was the hardest thing you had to learn about showing sheep?
The hardest thing that I’ve encountered is having to change my style and stance as I’ve gotten taller and older. There was about a solid year where I struggled and couldn’t hardly win a showmanship class. I was relying on my skills from when I was younger and it just wasn’t working. I had to change my hand placement and my stance around the front of my sheep.
Who has helped you the most as a showman?
Many people have helped me through the years. My mom Nikki was the one that helped the most. She taught me the basics and the value of watching other showman and picking up new skills.
