With the uncertainty of the show season, how did you stay focused?
This show season specifically, I centered all my focus on watching the sheep change from week to week and simply finding the joy in their improvement.  Therefore whenever I had the opportunity to show, they would be ready.

What was something new you tried this year since you were able to be home more often than normal?
Being home early from my first year of college allowed me start rinsing legs and setting up sheep a couple months earlier than I’d anticipated.

What is your favorite show product to use?

When I grow up I want to be….
ABiochemist – I plan to get my PhD and work in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical field.

Showing animals has helped me to develop……

relationships with my family. Whether it be trips west to pick out sheep or blaring music in the barn with my brother, I couldn’t be more grateful for the memories this project has allowed me to make.

What’s your favorite Barn Chore:
Washing & working leg hair

Who is the person you look to for advice right before you go in the ring for that last minute pep talk or pointer:

My dad and brother are my go-to’s right before I enter the ring. They always know the right words to hype me up, and both remind me what each sheep needs to ensure they look their best.

Favorite Celebration Restaurant after a good day at the show:
We don’t always celebrate the night of the show, but when we do everyone in my family loves a good steak.

Favorite Song or Singer:
Eric Church
