Tell us a little bit about your champion.
I have been showing Beyoncé throughout this show year and she has been very successful. She’s very sassy and fiery which is something I grew to love about her. Every time she stepped in the ring she knew she was fancy and pranced around with no hesitation. She truly was a special ewe and Nicewonger club lambs really hit it out of the park breeding this one.

Throughout your show career what’s been your favorite lamb?
Throughout my show career I have had a couple favorites, they both happen to be ewes. Although my favorite by far was the one that happened to win Arizona this year just because she was so fiery and loved to be in the be ring as much as I did.

Do your prefer showing Wethers or Ewes?
I would pick to show ewes any day. They have so much sass and always make the show so fun.

Are you superstitious? If so, what are your superstitions?
I’m not very superstitious but I can’t wear green on show day because it’s bad luck for me.

Who has been your biggest influence?
That’s a though question, I have a few…  but first would be the person who has been by my side from the very beginning. Cole Buys saw something in me when I was a novice showman and I couldn’t have accomplished anything that I have without him by my side and as a role model. He is the reason why I began showing sheep and goats. I’m also heavily influenced and grateful for the team around me that makes it all happen, I couldn’t have accomplished my dreams without Derrek Smalley and the team, he has already taught me so much and supported me though all my ups and downs while bringing a good laugh to every show. As well as my family supporting me and guiding me to be a better person in and out of the ring. All these people have inspired me to work hard, set big goals and learn from every experience.

It’s showday – what is one thing you can’t leave the hotel/house without?
I cannot leave my hotel without my phone so I can take lots of pictures and play the best pre-show music.

What do you tell yourself right before you go into the ring?
I have always been pretty silent before I go in the ring but I’m normally get told good luck… don’t suck.

Are you an early riser or a night owl?
I’m definitely a night owl, I love staying up late and hate waking up early unless it’s in show day and I have my Redbull.

What’s your favorite thing to do in the barn?
I enjoy the simple things in my barn from practicing in-front of my mirror to working hair. All while listening to music.
