We caught up with Ms, Kenzee Henderson exhibitor of the Grand Market Lamb at the 2023 Arkansas State Fair and Arkansas Youth Expo. Learn a little more about Kenzee below!

How do you stay focused on reaching your goal?
I write down my show goals every year and strive to achieve them daily.
Do you show any other species besides sheep? If so, what other species?
I started showing Nigerian dwarfs I started showing Nigerian dwarfs when I was about five years old. Now I show market goats.
What’s your favorite show? and why?
My favorite show would have to be Arizona Nationals because of the laid back atmosphere and hanging out with friends.
What do you do to celebrate after a big win?
I celebrate by going out to eat with friends and family.
What has showing livestock taught you?
It has taught me to be accountable and responsible for my livestock and everything I do in life.
What’s your biggest dream?
To work with kids and livestock I am a cancer survivor and have a special connection with kids and I would like to give back to kids some day.
What’s your lambs name? and what made him/her so special?
FREAK he was made right from the start!
Who do you look up to?
My mom 110% she’s my best friend and is always my number one cheerleader. She always pushes me to be the best I can be. And I am thankful for her every day!
