We caught up with Ms, Kaitlyn Kampmann exhibitor of the Reserve Grand Market Lamb at the 2023 American Royal. Learn a little more about Kaitlyn below!
Grade: University of Kentucky, Sophomore
Tell us a little bit about your champion.
My American Royal champion was named Terry. He came from Double F Club Lambs out of Kentucky. It was his first and only show, but he was one I will never forget.
Throughout your show career what’s been your favorite lamb?
My favorite show lamb was my wether Sebastian. He was a lamb that I grew attached to last year and he stayed in the pasture far after his show career.
Do your prefer showing Wethers or Ewes?
I prefer to show wethers.
Who has been your biggest influence?
One of my biggest influences was my grandma. She also wanted the best for me and I know she was cheering me on during the show.
