We caught up with Ms. Kahlen Tolle, exhibitor of the Grand Champion Market Lamb at the 2025 Colorado State Fair. Learn a little more about Kahlen below!
What feed product do you feel helped them the most?
The feed product that I feel helped Clark the most was High Noon Show Feeds, having a base feed that they eat consistently every day is key.
What show day supply could you not go without?
We have a few that we love but definitely can’t be without Sure Shine!
What did you do to prepare that helped set yourself apart?
My entire summer is dedicated to my show lambs. We spend hours in the barn preparing for the big day! Clark was one of my favorites to work and we made a standout team come show day!
What was the funniest thing that happened while you were preparing for the State Fair?
Show day is always pretty stressful with trying to get all of the sheep ready on time, so we always tend to jam out to our music and I’m sure we look a little silly doing it!
If you could invent a new fair food, what would it be?
Deep fried flautas on a stick for sure!
What would it look like if you designed a ride for the fair?
I kind of hate carnival rides, so it would be slow, goes straight, and is low to the ground!
What was your celebratory dinner choice?
Well one of the only options to eat in Pueblo is the Texas Roadhouse, so my whole family, and all the other people who helped make the day happen went there! We even put the trophy in the middle of the table!
