How do you stay focused on reaching your goal?
At the beginning of the year I sit down with my parents and write a list of goals I want to accomplish within that show year. We hang the goals up in the barn as a reminder to not give up!
Do you show any other species besides sheep? If so, what other species?
I only show sheep.
What’s your favorite show? and why?
My favorite show is The Show in Reno. The atmosphere of the show is always fun. There’s so many fun prizes and showing in the parking garage or the Nugget is quite the experience.
What do you do to celebrate after a big win?
I go back to the barn and celebrate by listening to music and just hanging out with all the people who helped me achieve the win.
What has showing livestock taught you?
Showing livestock has taught me so much. I’ve gained so much responsibility and compassion throughout my years of showing. Being responsible for the lives this animals have has shaped me into the person I am today.
What’s your biggest dream?
My biggest dream is to win a showmanship at the national level. Whenever I was younger showmanship was my the first thing I was ever successful in so it would mean a lot.
What’s your lambs name? and what made him/her so special?
My lambs name was Jiggie. His show steer legs and race horse personality made him so special and fun to work in the barn.
Who do you look up to?
First I look up to my amazing parents who started me in this industry, without them it wouldn’t be possible. I also look up to Allison Smith. She is someone who has been there and pushed me to achieve my biggest dreams. Kylar Lee has also helped me always improve and push me to be better.
