With the uncertainty of the show season, how did you stay focused?
Before the OYLE show was planned and even after we knew there was a possibility we wouldn’t have a show. To stay focused we just prepared as if State Fair was never cancelled.
What was something new you tried this year since you were able to be home more often than normal?
Even with more time we never really tried anything new, we just spent a little more time with each lamb individually.
What is your favorite show product to use?
We use a wide variety of products, mainly Weaver Livestock products such as pro hair, pro charge, pro polish.
When I grow up I want to be….
At the moment I’m not quite sure what I want to do after high school. However, for my last year I am taking some part time classes at OSU ATI and hope that’ll help me figure out what it is I wanna do.
Showing animals has helped me to develop……
Showing sheep has helped me to build a better work ethic, it’s also helped me to get more involved with our local 4-H and Junior Fair Board which has helped with my public speaking.
What’s your favorite Barn Chore:
If I’m being honest, the one I don’t like to do is carry water, other than that I don’t really have a favorite.
Who is the person you look to for advice right before you go in the ring for that last minute pep talk or pointer:
My mom and dad are the people I look to for advice, they usually give me the same piece of advice every show, show hard and have fun.
Favorite Celebration Restaurant after a good day at the show:
My family has a tradition of going to Buffalo Wild Wings every year with friends and family.
Favorite Song or Singer:
While my favorite song probably changes weekly one that never gets old is Springsteen by Eric Church
