We caught up with Mr. Brayden Bowers, exhibitor of the Grand Champion Market Lamb and Grand Champion breeding Ewe at the 2023 State Fair of Wisconsin. Learn a little more about Brayden below!

How do you stay focused on reaching your goal?
I have my mom and Wes always keeping me on track and I always think of my goals.
Do you show any other species besides sheep? If so, what other species?
I show pigs.
What’s your favorite show? and why?
My favorite show is Arizona Nationals because it is a really cool drive and laid back. I also love that they play music while you show
What do you do to celebrate after a big win?
In the summer I like to go tubing at the lake to celebrate. In the fall or winter we usually go out to eat for a nice dinner.
What has showing livestock taught you?
Showing has taught me to dream big, work hard and stay humble.
What’s your biggest dream?
To win all the national shows with sheep and pigs.
What’s your lambs name? and what made him/her so special?
My wether’s name was Chance because he was from Neff. What made him special was how complete he was and he had big white legs and mellow personality.
My ewe’s name is Panda and something that makes her special is that she is really friendly and she always looks good on the circle walker.
Who do you look up to?
I look up to Jordan Tibbits, Ty and Nicole Allen, Cooper Newcomb, Travis Platt, My mom, my Grandpa Steve, and Wes Berget.
