WHO GOT YOU INVOLVED IN THE LIVESTOCK INDUSTRY AND HOW?
My family has deep roots in the livestock business. However, I would say it’s primarily my Dad that had me exposed to livestock at an early age. I was exposed to the commercial side as well as the show side.
WHAT IS A DREAM YOU HAVE ALWAYS WANTED TO ACCOMPLISH?
I would have to say my dreams/goals continue to change as I mature as a person. I have been very fortunate to accomplish many of these and much more. More importantly though, being a follower of Jesus and a loving husband and father really completes my most valued accomplishments.
WHERE ARE YOU FROM AND WHAT BROUGHT YOU TO WHERE YOU CURRENTLY LIVE?
San Angelo Texas. I was raised here and call it home. It’s a great place to raise a family because of the quality of people.
WHAT IS A PET PEEVE OF YOURS IN THE RING?
Bad attitudes and rude facial expressions.
WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE SHEEP YOU’VE EVER SEEN?
Honestly, I don’t have one that comes to mind and that doesn’t discount some really impressive ones I’ve seen. However, I think it’s more of a mindset to always find and see the next great one.
