Where did you grow up?
Woodland, California

How many kids were in your graduating class?
Around 400.

If we go back to your senior year of high school, what song was “your song”?
Juicy by Biggie Smalls has always been my jam.

Were you involved in any extracurricular activities? If so, what?
I played baseball and basketball throughout high school. On top of that my parents drove me to every judging contest that I could compete in.

If you could describe your hometown in one word, what would it be?
Diverse.

Were there any local traditions or festivals you loved?
My family and I are big fans of the annual FFA crab feed.

If someone were visiting your hometown for the first time, what’s the one thing they must do?
There’s a little Mexican joint next to 7-11 called Tacos el Jaliciense. A definite must hit spot for authentic Mexican food. Give the homeless guy out front your change on the way out.

Are there any people in your hometown who shaped who you are today?
My parents and my grandparents. They always held me to very high standards,
and pushed hard for me to be my best. As the eldest of 4, I always strive to be someone my younger siblings can look up to as well.
