What is “nonnegotiable” for you when judging good livestock?
Good looking sound livestock.
What is your favorite part about working with the next generation of young people?
Telling them they will have to do more than looking at social media to be successful.
What is your best piece of advice for someone looking to pursue a judging career?
Be honest with yourself and give a fair shake to all involved.
Biggest showmanship pet peeve?
Lots of them. Unusual noises, too much paint that comes off on the handle, belly wool that looks like a navel abscess, and my favorite is being 3 feet out of line on the side profile!
