We caught up with judge Bryan Williams before he steps “Inside the Ring” to sort the Market Lamb Show at the Minnesota State Fair. Learn more about Bryan below…
What are you looking forward to the most while judging the show?
It is always exciting to see the exhibitors and the hard work they have put in on those animals all summer. You know expectations are high- and watching some of those kids have a day they won’t forget is always pretty cool.
What state fair did you show at growing up? What was your favorite part?
grew up showing at the Missouri State Fair. I will always remember the people that helped me along the way. No matter how high the stakes or how competitive things were- there were always people willing to help each other.
What show is on your bucket list to judge?
That’s a tough one… but I would have to put the American Royal on that list. As a Missourian that grew up 35 miles from KC, it has always had a special place in my heart.
What is one lesson you took away from showing yourself?
Never give up. Some years are good, and some don’t turn out how you hoped, but keep a positive outlook and keep working and the good days will outnumber the bad.
