What’s the pedigree of your champion?
“Calamity” is a Ceasefire x Stagecoach “Chiara” (Big Paw x Bullseye)
This is Chiara’s first AI mating and we knew she needed to be flushed. She flushed 16 for the 2025 lamb crop and we couldn’t be more excited!
What is one thing you still want to accomplish as a breeder?
A big goal of ours is to help young families and breeders succeed in building their programs or showing their projects. The Hild and Droppert families have helped us a ton over the years and we want to pay it forward.

Presence and skeletal quality
Favorite industry sire of all time?
Anyone that knows me knows I’m a sucker for some old school Crinkle
Most influential female in your flock? Why?
“Sugar” has been a standout since we bought her from Nathan’s in ’19. Her daughters make up nearly 40% of our AI flock.
We hope that Chiara can start making her mark in a similar way!
Favorite show animal you’ve ever seen?
That’s really hard to say but a couple come to mind. Berry’s Aksarben Grand in ’23 and Morrical’s Grand at Iowa this year I thought were very good.
