Who had the biggest influence on you to start your own herd?
My grandpa. He had sheep when he was a kid. My mom raised sheep, and now we as a family have 300 head on the family farm.

Fefe…. Well we just love her.
Growing up what did you think your occupation would be?
I thought I would be a meteorologist. Daily weather reports from Allison Smith on TV lol
Are you still on the farm or buildings that you started raising sheep in? If not, when and why did you decide to move?
Yes, we are still located on the farm where my grandpa grew up outside of Emporia. We have now built 3 buildings on the property, but some of the existing buildings are still in use today
What has been the scariest decision for your operation?
Buying Dwayne Hurliman’s purebred Dorset flock.
If you could add one thing to your operation, what would it be and why?
Fence line feeders. It would make throwing buckets so much easier.
