How many years have you been raising sheep?
20+ years
What excites you the most about raising show stock?
What excites us most about raising show stock is seeing the complete process come full circle—from making breeding decisions and developing genetics to watching young exhibitors succeed with the animals we raise or with ones out of our genetics.
We love the pursuit of creating elite livestock and the challenge of making each generation better than the last. Our goal is always to produce “the one”—that special animal that stops people in their tracks, turns heads when it enters the ring, and leaves a lasting impression. The constant pursuit of creating something unique, impactful, and better than what we’ve done before is what keeps us passionate about the livestock side of the industry.
But beyond the sheep themselves, what truly drives us is the people. There is nothing more rewarding than watching young exhibitors grow in confidence, work ethic, and responsibility through our program. Whether it’s winning a banner, achieving a personal goal, or creating memories with their family, knowing that something we raised played a small role in that journey is incredibly fulfilling.
What is your favorite animal on your farm?
CEASEFIRE
What is one lesson that you have learned while raising sheep that has changed your perspective over time?
The day you stop learning, is the day you need to quit raising sheep.
Where would you like to see your operation go in the next 5 – 10 years?
In the next 5-10 years, we’d like to continue building a program that consistently produces elite sheep while never losing sight of the people behind it. Our goal is to further strengthen and advance our genetics, expand our impact across the industry, and create even more opportunities for young exhibitors and families to be successful. Most importantly, we want to create something our boys can be proud of and continue building for years to come.
