Company Man x Impact Donor 2635 (Bombshell x Goat)
How many years have you been raising sheep?
31 Years as Impact Hamps. Another 20+ years with sheep not as favorable.
What excites you the most about raising show stock?
Raising ones that feed good, look good and ones are pretty durable.
What is your favorite animal on your farm?
Fiona our guard dog. Company Man is a pretty close 2nd. Fiona has a better demeanor.
What is one lesson that you have learned while raising sheep that has changed your perspective over time?
The “best bucks” or the “best ewes” have a pretty short shelf life. Better always have a backup plan, to your backup plan. The business changes fast.
Where would you like to see your operation go in the next 5 – 10 years?
Keep raising ones that feed good and look good.
