What’s been your all time favorite sheep you have judged?
I was extremely impressed with the grand at the Michigan Livestock Expo this year from the Hild Brothers!
What do you look for when evaluating?
I’m trying to find sheep that are correct structurally and have the right type of fresh muscle. On ewes, I’ll definitely lean towards the prettier ones.
If down to the last few, what will be your sort?
Usually when I get down to the top 2 or 3, I will send them on a walk. I love studying livestock on the move!
Tell us about your family!
My Fiancé Mallory and I live in Lubbock, TX where I am the Livestock Judging Coach at South Plains College, and she works for Alltech as the North American Pork Marketing Coordinator.
What’s one show you look forward to every year?
Although I never got to show there, I always look forward to the National Western!
