With the uncertainty of the show season, how did you stay focused?
It was not easy to stay focused, but I new I had lambs in the barn and they would be nothing if they weren’t fed right and worked properly. Thankfully we have great show officials and volunteers, they were able to make it possibly to get the lambs in the ring.
What was something new you tried this year since you were able to be home more often than normal?
I kept to the same routine, other than I did some home improvements, and stayed in the barn a lot later at night.
What is your favorite show product to use?
SureShine
When I grow up I want to be….
Electrician and raise show lambs
Showing animals has helped me to develop……
Showing lambs competitively has definitely taught me financial management, dedication and responsibility.
What’s your favorite Barn Chore:
Treadmilling, putting lambs on the walker, watching my ewes and praying they don’t get marked after A.I.
Who is the person you look to for advice right before you go in the ring for that last minute pep talk or pointer:
My mom and dad are always by my side helping with last minute touch ups before I go into the ring, but I always look for guidance and insight from my mentor, whether in person or not, Kent Williams.
Favorite Celebration Restaurant after a good day at the show:
I don’t necessarily have a favorite, but this year after winning MLE we enjoyed time with great friends at B-dubs.
