What is an interesting fact about your champion?
Her Grandma’s sister was Grand at NAILE in 2020 for Riley Hoyle.  Her mother was flushed as a virgin yearling and had a ewe lamb called Blue Bryd born in October that made the “show team”.  We then AI’d her mother for late February and Cinnamon was born.

Best piece of advice for someone just getting started?
Don’t be afraid to not be understood by people who want it less than you.  The very fact that they don’t understand, is how you know your doing it right.

What has been the hardest thing you have faced as a breeder?
$8 corn

What is one thing you think is a non-negotible purchase?
MacLennan’s ram BURN

What is your favorite Fall Show? Why?
ouisville.  Lots of memories, success, and friendships made over the last 30 years we’ve been attending.

Who is a foundation builder for your heard? What makes her so special?
Whooty 2-She’s probably in 80 females with over half of them being utilized in our ET program.  She won South Dakota State Fair for Madison.  Her mom was a Beastmode show ewe of Kailen Urban’s. Her Grandma won CA State Fair for Shae Beam

Who have you looked up to while building your herd? Why?
We’ve beat to my own drum in regards to the genetics and the type of sheep we try to raise.  As far as running a company our dad Rob Rule has been a big influence about helping us build our business model to be successful
