What are you looking forward to the most while judging the show?
The Iowa State Fair has a strong tradition of great exhibitors and elite livestock. Looking forward to the competition that arises when those two factors are present.
What state fair did you show at growing up? What was your favorite part?
I grew up showing at the Tulsa State Fair. I always enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere.
What show is on your bucket list to judge?
I’ve been fortunate to judge many shows over the years. I take every job seriously and always appreciate the opportunity.
What is one lesson you took away from showing yourself?
I think the responsibility learned from taking care of livestock is second to none. It prepares you for so many things in life.
