This week's "Who's Who?" features Luke Davis of Guthrie, OK. We invite you to read our candid interview with the young man below and please continue to check back for our next edition of “Who's Who?".

How old are you and where do you go to school?
I am 18 years old and I attend Guthrie High School. 

Where do you plan to attend college?
I am still deciding on wether I want to just attend Oklahoma State, or try to go play football at Tulsa or Wheaton College in Illinois. 

What activities are you involved in at school?
I am involved in football, baseball, FFA, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

How old were you when you started showing sheep?
I started showing when I was 9 years old, and actually started showing steers before switching over to sheep when I was 12. 

What is your favorite show and why?
My favorite show is hands down NWSS (Denver). It is a great experience to get away from home and hang out with your friends from all over the country. 

Do you have any superstitions or good luck charms?
I'm not too superstitious, but I do always wear my 2010 NWSS Grand Champion belt buckle for good luck.

Describe your daily exercise and feeding program.
I feed the sheep around 6:30 In the morning and evening. We walk and treadmill every other day, and practice setting them up on the days they aren't exercising.

Who is the person who has helped you the most with your show projects?
My family and I couldn't have success without my mom. She takes so much time out of her schedule to help us do what we love.

What is one tip you would give starting showmen?
I would tell a first time showman that hard work pays off. And this is what I have experienced through my showing career and am very lucky to do so.

Where is your favorite place to vacation?
My favorite vacation is skiing in Colorado! It's a very good workout as well as a challenge, but it's also a very fun activity.

What it your favorite color?
I don't really have a favorite color, but blue and green are my two favorites.

  1. What is one of your favorite foods/drinks?
    My favorite food has to be fettuccine Alfredo. I just love Italian in general. 
  1. What is your favorite college football team?
    My favorite college football team is the Oklahoma State Cowboys! Born and raised a cowboy.
